Schooling
Samantha has always understood the importance of a good education to achieve the high goals she set for herself. In her public speaking events, she encouraged the young people to make positive life choices by choosing higher education and creating the life of their dreams. Samantha was a stellar student who maintained a 3.85 GPA while taking honors classes at San Dimas High School.
School also provided her competitive spirit the opportunity to thrive as a Varsity Cheerleader and Swim Team Member, as well as developing a wonderful social life to fit her outgoing personality.
It was clear that Samantha loved school and had a desire to succeed – a desire that still exists within her today.

San Dimas High School honors Samantha’s legacy by selecting one deserving, university-bound cheerleader as a recipient of the Samantha Palumbo Scholarship. This person takes after Samantha’s example of maintaining high academic achievement while being active in sports, cheer and serving the community.
SDHS was more than just an education for Samantha; it provided her with friends who have stuck with her through her accident and recovery. The love and support that the SDHS students and staff have shown Samantha has left a special imprint in our hearts, and has proved true the saying, “Once A Saint, Always A Saint.”
